CRJ’ s story began in 1999, when founding directors Lee Carter, Kevin Jones, and Andrew Reed spotted an opportunity to move from farming to organic recycling. Their first breakthrough came when Cheshire County Council awarded the newly incorporated business a green waste processing contract. CRJ bought its first excavator and laid the foundations for what would become a much broader materials-processing business.

Today, the organization runs the largest mobile waste processing equipment hire fleet in the UK and Ireland, with more than 100 machines ready for customers. CRJ’ s equipment line-up includes shredders, screeners, trommels, woodchippers and other specialist machinery.
